– You put a dash between tens and units (like in English);
– Exception: if there’s an “et“, you leave blank spaces in between words;
– Unlike English, French leave blank spaces between thousands, millions or billions (no comas);
– There’s an “s” at the end of “quatre -vingts” because there’s nothing afterwards;
– There’s no “s” at the end of “quatre-vingt-dix” because there’s “dix” afterwards.
